Stephanie Leach is a mixed-media painter whose work navigates the threshold between the seen and the felt. Working primarily on canvas, she builds her surfaces through layering — applying, erasing, and revealing until the painting finds its own quiet resolution.

Her practice is rooted in the landscape of the natural world: the sediment of riverbeds, the particulate light of dusk, the way stone holds memory. Each work is an excavation as much as a construction — a record of the gestures made and unmade along the way.
